Nicky

Nicky joined the Blockhouse Bay Vets team in January 2025 as a Registered Veterinary Nurse. Before moving into veterinary nursing, she worked in human health science, emergency management, and administration, bringing a unique mix of skills and a lifelong love of animals.

She particularly enjoys preventative healthcare and supporting patients through all aspects of their medical and surgical care. Nicky is passionate about helping clients feel informed, supported, and confident when making decisions about their pets’ health and wellbeing.

Outside of work, Nicky is a busy mum of two and shares her home with four foster-fail rescue cats, a Miniature Schnauzer, and two axolotls. When she’s not at the clinic or managing her own small zoo at home, she enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
